The special feature of the small hole gloss meter is that the measuring aperture at the bottom is conventionally small, and it can fit more closely when measuring the surface gloss of irregular (curved) workpieces.

Some special hardware and plastic workpieces with curved surfaces or small areas themselves cannot be detected by conventional gloss meters, such as car cab panels, car steering wheel surfaces, and curved operation console panels, which are relatively small. Some common misoperations cannot be avoided in the daily use of Multi-angle gloss meter:

1. The light leakage of the measurement object leads to measurement deviation. When measuring, the surface of the measured object must cover the measuring hole of the glossmeter. If the measured object is not flat, it is recommended to choose a small hole glossmeter (small diameter 1.5*3mm² elliptical measuring hole);

2. The intelligent Multi-angle gloss meter mistakenly set the black glass standard plate as black velvet during calibration, resulting in a deviation in calibration;

3. The optical system at the bottom of the instrument receives while illuminating. Some people often mistakenly believe that both sides are light sources, and unilateral illumination is mistaken for instrument failure;

4. The three-angle intelligent gloss meter is not calibrated according to the calibration sequence of the manual, which will lead to deviations in the calibration;

5. Random lens paper is used for wiping the black and white standard plate to remove dirt, not for wiping the Multi-angle gloss meter measurement lens.
