Some people often don't know how to choose plastic gloss meter when buying it. Plastic gloss meter is an instrument used to measure the surface gloss of various materials, such as ceramics, paint, ink, plastics, marble, aluminum, hardware and so on.

1) Equipped with accurate glossometer standard board.

For the calibration of plastic gloss meter, the data of the existing gloss standard plate must be used as the reference standard. If the plastic gloss meter standard plate is inaccurate, the instrument must be inaccurate. Moreover, the gloss of the standard plate is very easy to be stained, so the standard plate of the instrument must be well protected. Generally, a special base is used, and the standard plate is embedded in the base to avoid external pollution and scratch.

2) Plastic gloss meter must have the self diagnosis function of standard plate fouling:

That is, if the standard plate is stained, the instrument can recognize and prompt the user to clean the standard plate of plastic gloss meter. If the standard plate is not calibrated, all measurement data will be inaccurate.

3) The glossiness instrument has temperature compensation function:

The principle of plastic gloss meter is to use a light source and a receiver to measure the reflected luminous flux on the material surface. If the ambient temperature changes after plastic gloss meter calibration, resulting in the change of luminous efficiency of the light source, the error of the change of luminous efficiency of the light source will be directly reflected in the measurement data. If there is a temperature compensation function, the change of luminous efficiency caused by temperature change can be compensated to ensure that the luminous efficiency of the light source remains unchanged.

4) Plastic gloss meter has stability, consistency and accuracy.
